COMBAT ALLEY-HARD KNOX (PERRIS RECORDS)

Here's another quality Glam/Party Metal release on PERRIS RECORDS. The band is called HARD KNOX, and they hail from Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. They were active between 1985 and 1999, and were able to release a mini-LP in that period. This CD contains the 7 tracks of that vinyl record with the addition of 5 bonustracks. I can easily inform you that this CD contains high class 80s US Hardrock, not unlike RATT, TEEZE and the old MOTLEY CRUE. My favorite tracks are "Get up" (catchy midtempo party melodic rocker), "Love's out of season" (fantastic classy uptempo melodic rocker a la TALAS, DOKKEN), "Take it if you want it" (good semi melodic rockballad) and "Nothin ever last forever" (uptempo melodic rocker, pure 80s). HARD KNOX was a band playing a mixture of Glam/Party Metal and Melodic Hardrock, ending up sounding like early RATT meets DOKKEN!
