DIO - KILLING THE DRAGON (SPITFIRE RECORDS)

For those of you who are looking for the old school DIO sound than this is the cd for you!!!! Craig Goldie is out and Melodic Rock legend Doug Aldrich is in ! Ronnie sounds amazing!  The album opens with the title track "Killing The Dragon" which is great track but "Along Comes A Spider"  , "Push"  & "Throwaway Children" is classic DIO!!  "Better In The Dark" has a RAINBOW "Long Live Rock & Roll"  kinda vibe!! There is no filler material here!  The only thing i can't figure out is why there is no "Rainbow"  reference here!!! Can't wait to see DIO with THE SCORPIONS & DEEP PURPLE out on tour this summer!
