I didn't notice the return of the Sleaze rockers LA GUNS until this new CD arrived. The CD is titled 'Shrinking violet' and was released last year, but I recently located it. I wouldn't call it a pure 80s Sleaze rock album a la their debut, because there are also 90s rock influences on a couple of tunes. But for the most part this is Sleazy Melodic Hardrock that made LA GUNS popular back in their heydays. My favourite tracks include "Girl you turn me on" (80s Sleaze Rock), "Dreamtime" (ballad), "California" and "Big lil' thing". The weaker songs are "Shrinking violet", "I'll be there", "Decide", "Bad whiskey" and "How many more times". Their first 3 albums are still the best ones LA GUNS did in their long history, still a fan of LA GUNS will be glad to hear the band rockin' very sleazy again!
